Stranger in the Village

Question 3:

I really don't understand the effect but I think he left certain people (women) because he is a man so he really can only base his opinion on men. You can read a little deeper and instead of comparing the racial aspect just substitute everything to women and men. It is almost the same thing, gender has been discriminated against longer than race.

I would definitely have to agree with the fact that maybe he just can't identify with women, so his opinion mainly consists of women. However, about the fact that gender has been discriminated against longer than race is incorrect - just in my opinion. I think gender and race have been discriminated again evenly. There has always been a gender discrimination and always been a race discrimination. Even still today, gender and race are discriminated against by some people although not as harshly. So I don't think it's correct for you to say which has been discriminated against the longest for I think they are both equal in length.
